Rogues" Spicy Pickled Eggs
Excellent Pickled eggs with a kick.
Equipment
- 500ml Jars
- Pot
- 12 or more Eggs
Ingredients
All below per jar
- 1 eggs Per Jar
- 1-3 cloves Garlic split
- 1 tsp Green Onion
- ½-1 tsp Rogues Death Pepper or chili flakes
- ¼ tsp Dry Garlic
- ¼ tsp Tumeric
- 2 Black Pepper corns
- ½ tsp Oregano
- ½ tsp Dry Onion Flakes
- 1½ tsp Pickle Spice
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 tsp Dill Seed
Pickle Brine
- 2 Cups Vinegar
- 2 Cups Water
- 3 Tbsp Pickling Salt
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
Instructions
Prepare Jars
- Add all dry ingredients into jars
- Place 5 eggs per jar
Prepare the Brine
- Mix brine in a pot and bring to a biol
- Pour brine over eggs and spices leaving a bit of head space
- place lids on and let cool
- shake well and store in fridge leave at least a week before eating for full flavour
- Will keep in fridge for about 4 to 6 months but they rarely last that long.
