Rogues’ Spicy Pickled Eggs

This is an excellent pickled egg recipe and if you do not like it hot use less or drop the red pepper flakes.

Rogues" Spicy Pickled Eggs

Excellent Pickled eggs with a kick.

  • 500ml Jars
  • Pot
  • 12 or more Eggs


All below per jar

  • 1 eggs Per Jar
  • 1-3 cloves Garlic split
  • 1 tsp Green Onion
  • ½-1 tsp Rogues Death Pepper or chili flakes
  • ¼ tsp Dry Garlic
  • ¼ tsp Tumeric
  • 2 Black Pepper corns
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • ½ tsp Dry Onion Flakes
  • tsp Pickle Spice
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 tsp Dill Seed

Pickle Brine

  • 2 Cups Vinegar
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 3 Tbsp Pickling Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar


Prepare Jars

  • Add all dry ingredients into jars
  • Place 5 eggs per jar

Prepare the Brine

  • Mix brine in a pot and bring to a biol
  • Pour brine over eggs and spices leaving a bit of head space
  • place lids on and let cool
  • shake well and store in fridge leave at least a week before eating for full flavour
  • Will keep in fridge for about 4 to 6 months but they rarely last that long.
