Rogues Quick Easy Gravy

This is a quick and easy gravy to put together when you have mashed potatoes or some other meal you need a gravy for. This gravy has options to make it savory or spicy depending on what you would like to have.

Equipment

  • Small pot or pan and wisk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp butter or other fat
  • 1 -2 tbsp flour
  • 1 - 2 bullion cubes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp ground pepper
  • 1 cup beef or chicken broth

Optional Ingredients

  • ½ tsp chili powder or southwest seasoning
  • 1 tsp oregano

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter and then stir in the flour making a rue.
  • Add your Broth making a gravy
  • Add bullion cubes and all other spices and stir well. If too thick add more broth to thin out.
  • Stir and enjoy.
